Worker power is in the air this month. With strikes popping up across the country, workers taking back their power, and claiming their dignity, we are reminded that strong unions aren’t just about building power, but actually using that power. This is how we change the status quo.
Within our own Local, we are proud to celebrate the tireless work of Code for America Workers United who won recognition for their union last week! These workers are paving the way for others across the civic tech sector, and we can’t wait to see how they use the power they are building at the bargaining table and beyond.
