As we get into the swing of this year, we're seeing increasing solidarity across the industry as more and more tech workers come together to learn from, and hold up, one another. This past month we got to celebrate Nava United going public with their campaign and the impact this has had on other civic tech workers. Every time workers stand up to claim their rights at work, they set an example for what's possible, and inspire new growth.
We also know that organizing is hard: it’s easy to burn out, feel uncertain, or end up isolated. The only antidote we have is the communities and networks of solidarity we are building. We were never meant to get through this alone. Every time we see workers show up and have each other’s backs, we know we’re on the right path.
