Every union effort today exists because workers like you took action together. Sometimes these actions are bold, public, and inspiring. Other times, action looks like taking notes at the meeting, following up with folks on their outstanding tasks, and checking in on that colleague who missed the past few meetings. Each of these actions, big and small, add up to powerful unions that are able to win lasting protections at work.
One of the great things about forming a union is that anyone can do it. Everyone has the ability to organize. All you need to do is combine each person’s unique skills and align around a shared set of goals. It takes some work and practice, but everyone can do it (and yes, that means, you too).
